Leslie Ash before and after: How has the actress changed?

Leslie Ash has had major roles in a number of hugely popular TV programmes.

The Henley-on-Thames born star first worked as a fashion model while studying at drama school.

She appeared on the covers of Pink and Jackie before having her break out role.

She played the romantic lead in Quadrophenia, the cult movie about clashes between the mods and rockers.

She went on to appear in Man Behaving Badly, during which time she released a single with Caroline Quentin.

Leslie also appeared in Where the Heart IN on ITV and on the BBC’s Holby City.

The actress wrote an autobiography, My Life Behaving Badly: The Autobiography, in 2007.

Happily married to former footballer Lee Chapman, their pair have two sons.

Leslie has discussed the cosmetic surgery she has had in the past.

In 2008 she starred in a documentary about the unregulated cosmetic beauty industry, Leslie Ash: Face to Face, which aired later that year.

Leslie famously suffered swelling on her face after having injectables in her face.

After having collaged injected into her lips for the second time they became swollen.

She had her first collagen injection while in her thirties, the Evening Standard reported.

And, two years later, at the age of 40 in 2002, Leslie decided to have lip implant surgery for a second time.

Speaking of the traumatic event in 2015 she said: “You feel like hiding yourself away and never coming out.”

She told Loose Women hosts: “When it’s gone badly there’s this shame. I know because I went through it.

“I thought it was a dermal filler that my body would just break down.

“But unbeknownst to me they used an industrial filler which got mixed up with my muscle.

“Those are the complications that can happen.”
