EastEnders’ Rob Kazinksy teases Sean Slater return after quitting England for Los Angeles

EASTENDERS star Rob Kazinksy has teased Sean Slater’s return after he quit England for Los Angeles to enjoy Hollywood success.

The actor has revealed he wants to come home in the near future – and could be headed straight for Albert Square full-time.

EastEnders’ Sean Slater could be returning in future, says actor Rob Kazinksy

Rob, 35, moved overseas ten years ago and is in the process of becoming an American citizen.

But he told the Daily Star: “If I had a great job offer in England then I’d be back.

“And as long as Kate Oates, Gillian Wright and Lacey Turner are at EastEnders there’s always a possibility.

“There’s no plan at the moment but I’m still in touch with Kate. I’ve been here for ten years and I’m about to become an American.”

He says once he’s got an American passport he’ll have the freedom to return to work in England.

But he adds that he feels lucky to have had a successful career out in the states.

His new film For Love or Money it out is available on digital download from today.

Rob starred in 259 episodes as tortured Sean Slater from 2006-2009 and a brief return earlier this year to support his sick mum Jean.

Despite the “snobbery” of coming from a soap background, Rob found huge success in the industry.

He returned to England last year to shoot British comedy For Love or Money – and it gave him a taste to return full-time.

EastEnders suffered its lowest ratings in its 34-year history last week with only 2.4million tuning in.

The BBC1 soap viewers fell amid complaints of weak storylines and lacklustre characters.
